Trick or Treat

Good Afternoon. Great to see the sunshining today! Too bad the rain knocked down so many of the beautiful leaves. I guess it's time to break out the rakes. Yuck.

Did you all know that tomorrow between 4 & 5 PM it "Trick or Treat" throughout downtown Newburyport. Hope you all stop by so we can see all your little ghosts and goblins. Gail will be there handing out little goodies. While you're there hope you check out some of the great stuff we brought into the shop this week. Have a great Halloween!

Big Thanks to All!!

Thank you all so very much for making the 2nd Annual Witches Night Out a great success! You all looked great. All the pennies you brought are so very much appreciated. It means the world to our community. Also the food drive is going so well and your donations blew us away! The shelves at the Community Center are looking much full thanks to your generosity. The little shopping cart will remain at the desk of Flukes for awhile yet so please stop by and drop off what you can. Have a great day. The sun is shinning and the trees look beautiful. There is also still time to get down to Flukes and help us celebrate our 16th Anniversary.

Hey there all. Wow what a great day! And tomorrow is suppose be better. Yahoo. So anyway, looks like we are about to be invaded with all kinds of witches and warlocks Friday Night . Awesome Talk about having a ton of fun. Yeah you're right in thinking did she really say that. yep I did. Anyway hope to see you all there.

Tuesday Evening

Hey gang, I know you all recognize Ellen. She is our favorite in house witch and she is a great lady. You must all come by and stop to say hello to Ellen this Friday night @ Witches Night Out.

What a great day I had at Flukes today. There were so many of you who stopped by to say how very excited you are about Friday night. Makes me so happy. I have to tell you I jump out of bed in the morning excited about getting ready

to see all of you.

Did you see the front page of the Daily News today? Didn't Gail look great? And let's not forget about the Pennies for P+

+overty. So many good and kind people stepping up and helping out. You should all be very proud.

Oh yeah you can stop by Flukes everyday to drop off your food donations, we have a sweet little shopping cart to hold the offerings. Thought you all would like to know we have made many drop-offs at the Nbpt community center. Way to go Newburyporters!!!

Tuesday Morning Sunshine

Yahoo! The sun is shinning and it looks like a great day. A little birdie told me Charlene was in the shop late last night doing her own kind of magic. I can't wait to get to the shop and see the visual splendor. What a talented lady she is. The plan is to spruce up and bring in fresh new merchandise for the weekend celebration. It's our Anniversary this weekend and you all know how we love to throw a party! We have been at 70 State Street for 9 magical years. Hope you all come by and check out what we have to offer. TTFN

Our Flukes Ladies

Hi everyone, all the ladies of Flukes, Gail, Charlene, Cindy, Miss V, Linda, Kelly, Kim, Ellen, Sandy and me Leslie hope you stop by and say hello. We always look forward to seeing you. We have some really cool things in the shop right now. Great furniture, wonderful Halloween decorations, lighting, linens, dishes, decor, and so much more. Friday evening is Witches Night Out. We will also be supporting Pennies for Poverty as they work to wipe out poverty right here in our own neighborhoods. Also there will be a reverse Trick or Treat to benefit Pennies for Poverty. Bring two cans of food and/or Pennies. See you all then.

Witches Night Out

We will be showcasing local artist, Alycia Matthews, paper mache' creations! Great stuff, you're going to love it all and Alycia will be there for you to meet.

Hello there all you Flukers! Yes it has been a very long time since I updated. But I am here today to tell you that there will be more frequent updates for Flukes & Finds & Friends. There is so much to catch up on but first I have to tell you all about Witches Night Out. Last year Flukes hosted the party alone but it was such a success that it will take place all over downtown Newburyport. There will be a $100.00 Newburyport Gift Certificate for the best witch or warlock costume, yummy nibbles, wacky witches brew, live music, a really scary spider collection, and much more. We hope you will all be able to join in on the fun. The night is also to help wipe out poverty in our own backyard through 2pennies 4 poverty. There is also a food drive to help stock the local food pantries. It will be such a great night for such a great cause.
