Inching up on Labor Day. Flukes has some really amazing "back to school" stuff that will bring you back to when you stood waiting for the bus. We have vintage typwriters, chalkboards, lunch boxes, dictionariore. you really must check out the great "memory" items we have for you.

Trick or Treat

Good Afternoon. Great to see the sunshining today! Too bad the rain knocked down so many of the beautiful leaves. I guess it's time to break out the rakes. Yuck.

Did you all know that tomorrow between 4 & 5 PM it "Trick or Treat" throughout downtown Newburyport. Hope you all stop by so we can see all your little ghosts and goblins. Gail will be there handing out little goodies. While you're there hope you check out some of the great stuff we brought into the shop this week. Have a great Halloween!

Big Thanks to All!!

Thank you all so very much for making the 2nd Annual Witches Night Out a great success! You all looked great. All the pennies you brought are so very much appreciated. It means the world to our community. Also the food drive is going so well and your donations blew us away! The shelves at the Community Center are looking much full thanks to your generosity. The little shopping cart will remain at the desk of Flukes for awhile yet so please stop by and drop off what you can. Have a great day. The sun is shinning and the trees look beautiful. There is also still time to get down to Flukes and help us celebrate our 16th Anniversary.

Hey there all. Wow what a great day! And tomorrow is suppose be better. Yahoo. So anyway, looks like we are about to be invaded with all kinds of witches and warlocks Friday Night . Awesome Talk about having a ton of fun. Yeah you're right in thinking did she really say that. yep I did. Anyway hope to see you all there.

Tuesday Evening

Hey gang, I know you all recognize Ellen. She is our favorite in house witch and she is a great lady. You must all come by and stop to say hello to Ellen this Friday night @ Witches Night Out.

What a great day I had at Flukes today. There were so many of you who stopped by to say how very excited you are about Friday night. Makes me so happy. I have to tell you I jump out of bed in the morning excited about getting ready

to see all of you.

Did you see the front page of the Daily News today? Didn't Gail look great? And let's not forget about the Pennies for P+

+overty. So many good and kind people stepping up and helping out. You should all be very proud.

Tuesday Morning Sunshine

Yahoo! The sun is shinning and it looks like a great day. A little birdie told me Charlene was in the shop late last night doing her own kind of magic. I can't wait to get to the shop and see the visual splendor. What a talented lady she is. The plan is to spruce up and bring in fresh new merchandise for the weekend celebration. It's our Anniversary this weekend and you all know how we love to throw a party! We have been at 70 State Street for 9 magical years. Hope you all come by and check out what we have to offer. TTFN
